This Hinckley backyard came to us as a new pool with nothing around it. We laid the paver deck that wraps the pool on all four sides and carried the same stone into the raised planter walls and the steps that bring the house down to patio level. Recessed lights sit under every tread and wall cap.
A louvered aluminum pergola covers the dining area at the far end, with LED strip lighting run around the inside of the frame. The outdoor kitchen sits beside it on a block base with a granite top and a built-in grill. On the other side of the patio we built a square gas fire pit into a curved seat wall with two pillars. A composite deck with black aluminum railing steps off the back of the house, screened from the neighbors by dark metal privacy panels. Low voltage lighting runs through all of it. Swim at four, fire at nine.
